I would like to see a calendar done with your pictures and I think it would sell a lot on store shelves. The only thing is that I'm off at college and don't have a lot of cash, so it would really depend on the time you released it.

After this comment, I am sure that I have more than exceeded my limit in responses to you for the day, and that I am verging on the point of spam. :ohnoes: Forgive me, I was just without internet for a few days and had to catch up on all my messages and emails; that's why you suddenly have an influx of messages from me. ^^;

God, I'm so slow right? I just watch my messages build up, then I'm like "oops, so many to answer:(" But I keep doing it anyway :XD:

I know a lot of people can't really afford it and things, but I'll leave them up all year round anyway.. So if you suddenly want one you can still get it :)

I'll probably spam you with replies now because I'm trying to get through all messages, so your forgiven for doing it, now will you forgive me if I spam you haha ^^;

My vote was a Maybe, and I know you said that doesn't really count. The reason for my vote is because I would of course prefer to make my own calendar. However, if you were to put together a calendar and it was on store shelves, I can guarantee that it would sell lots of them. Your quality is incredibly professional. I guess in a way it's just all about having some lucky connections to "get it on those shelves" in the first place. There's no doubt that people would love it and buy it. Personally, I just don't think deviantART is the right place for selling much. But I'm sure you'd be doing it through your web site?

I hope what I said makes sense. :D

Yeah I get what you mean about it being in a shop doing well, I honestly think it would, it's just getting it into a shop.. One of the places near me that only has British animals, well someone my sister works with, is friends with someone who works there, so she's going to have a word about putting some of my pictures for sale in the shop. So maybe...
Nah I wont be selling it on my website, my website has done nothing, completely pointless to be honest. Another confidence blow ^^;

I think I can explain it a bit better now. If I was to be walking through a mall or something and saw a bunch of calendars, I know for a fact that your cover would catch my eye. And once I saw on the back which photos were on all of the pages, I would totally be in love with it and feel it's completely professionally done. I'd totally buy it in that circumstance. So it has nothing to do with not being good enough, because it would be incredible from your photos. It's all about getting that "foot in the door" so to speak, which it sounds like you may just have very soon with that store. So I wish you the best of luck. =)

Same goes for your web site, no need to lose any confidence. It's all about establishing your name first, you know. You definitely have what it takes. Okee dokee? ;)

I know that's what you meant Dave :) Hopefully I have a chance there, I'll have to wait and see what my sister says when she gets home, I'm not sure whether they'd only want shots taken at their centre though, or whether they'd allow my tigers and things. :P That's if they say yes of course ^^;

First column is total that month, second column is people who have never been on the site before, and the last column is people who have been on the site before. So it's getting the views, just no sales.. :(
