This is such a gorgeous shot. My favorite part would have to be the contrast in the fur pattern. The highlighting around the eyes really brings out their wild nature. I also like the bright lighting on the whiskers that stands them out from the background. The background itself works well to frame the face and acts like shadow the wild creature seems to melt both in and out of. The straight forward direction of the head and gaze gives the animal a purposeful look, making it an excellent choice to put it dead center in the shot. Overall a beautiful piece.
Oy vey, don't know what I was inhaling there. Anyway. I drew a leopard of yours a while back. Not sure if you remember. Anyway. There is a local zoo art show coming up and was wondering if I could use this lovely Ocelot(?) as reference material? I'll be changing it up of course.
The vision of this picture is outstanding, the dark contrast definately sets the mood for a beautiful animal.
Originality is nothing like I have seen before! That cold hard stare is just mesmerising, and also terrifying in the meantime!
Technique is just flawless, extremely sharp and perfect lighting, and the bw jsut makes it stand out even more!
The impact is brutal as the face is just lit up, with a lovely black bacground.
I couldn't help but comment on this picture. Wd Alanna. I'm speechless over this!
